Meet Elvis, our office dog

Elvis feels at home at Markant, and not without reason, as he is well pampered. But what else does an office dog bring? 

Why should you have a dog in the office? And why not?

A dog can be a stress reliever, gives unconditional love and provides much-needed exercise. The stronger the bond with the dog, the greater the positive effect on stress levels. A dog in the workplace also increases interaction. Regularly, colleagues come to pet Elvis or romp with him. A good distraction and a reason to exercise for a few minutes again. Speaking of exercise: Elvis is always up for a walk! And as we know all too well, walking also has a positive effect on creativity and productivity.

Our visitors also often react positively to Elvis. He therefore has his own prominent place in the office. By the way, in such a way that visitors do not need to have contact. Because it is up to our visitors to greet Elvis.

Which brings us to the inevitable disadvantages of an office dog: it is a dog, with all the associated disadvantages. People may be afraid of dogs, dislike dogs, be allergic to dogs or just not like having hair on their clothes.

Elvis? He doesn't care that much. He loves the attention, and he certainly gets it here! Will you come and meet Elvis? He would like that! He is not in the office every day, but do not hesitate to ask about him.
