Technological developments are important causes of this sitting behavior, or to put it nicely, sedentary behavior. Due to the increasing use of PCs, TVs, tablets, smartphones and game consoles, we move less and less. As a result, many employees often sit for more than 10 hours a day. That starts with breakfast at the table. Then we sit in the car or train and then at our desk. Maybe we stand behind the pans for a while, but then it's already time to sit at the table again. Then we plop down on the couch. Even on our days off we sit for about 8 hours. It has become part of our lifestyle.

Because sitting all day significantly increases the risk of cardiovascular disease. You also run a greater risk of obesity, type II diabetes, cardiovascular disease, depression, Alzheimer's disease or even cancer. Even if you exercise every day. So these are already five reasons for choosing dynamic working. And then there is lower absenteeism, higher productivity and a better working atmosphere.

Then slowly increase the number of sit-stand desks. In this way, healthy working remains interesting and is not an obligation.
